"Design is Magic" was the theme of the exhibition which Art+Decor magazine was organising , with a view to create and enforce its prominence in the modern design movement in Turkey. It took place at Proje 4L, a new contemporary arts museum in Istanbul. I was very pleased to participate in this exhibition as it provided me an opportunity to create an alchemy displaying arhitectural and modern jewelry design elements in a sound philosophical context. My exhibit consisted of a large mobile, which on one of its arms had traditional religious symbols bearing portraits of popular artists who had triggered important changes in society, and on the the other arm had displays of my modern jewelry designs. I believe this reflects how the new way of life , values design more than material and spiritual values and can be interchangeable.
